About Peta
Peta is vibrant, motivational, encouraging -the real deal, funny and a teacher at heart.
Whether speaking to groups, facilitating workshops, coaching leader for growth and development, or counselling Christian couples, she brings compassion, empathy in a non-judgemental way and when required truth in love that hits the spot for synergy and impact.
Formally a Fashion Designer in Australia and overseas, Peta then moved into education when her two children were small, teaching design, business and communication subjects at tertiary level. She also facilitated training and workshops to multinational organizations. Peta subsequently moved into ministry as a pastor in her local church for nine years looking after small groups and prayer ministry before speaking as an itinerant around Australia to churches and women’s groups.

Peta has qualifications in fashion design, teaching, ministry, counselling and coaching. She is accredited with the Christian Counselling Association of Australia (CCAA) and the global best practice coaching body the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
She is the founder of A Woman of Influence, (AWI) since 2015 - a woman’s not-for-profit organization that champions women by making a difference. Its mission is to fundraise for A21 that seeks to abolish human trafficking. To date the team has raised over $60,000 for the effort to help those in sexual slavery or marriages or jobs against their will.

Peta has authored two books, ‘Unfrazzled & RE-Dazzled’ and ‘Inquizitive’ and a song that scommemorates two long-time friends - ‘Seven in Heaven’. In her spare time loves listening to Christian music, reads a range of books, watches movies and swims in Port Phillip Bay throughout the year with a group of crazy fellow swimmers called the Altona Jellies.

Peta has been married to David since 1985 and they have two adult children and so far three grandbabies.
